1.Uses o-methyl benzoyl chloride is an intermediate of the fungicides fenoxystrobin, trifloxystrobin and the herbicide bensulfuron.
2.Use for organic synthesis of pesticides, photosensitive materials, dyes, etc. In the pesticide industry, it is used to make o-amidobasidinum benzyl bactericide and Mihuanglong herbicide.
